INR 256 Understanding the Middle East

The aim of this course is to help you understand the background to the current crises in the Middle East as well as enabling you to form your own opinions about the conflicts, political processes and transition processes in the contemporary Middle East and North Africa. Connections between the history and current problems of the Middle East will also be emphasized and examined.
