HELS300 Research Methods in Health Sciences

This course will be introduced students the definition, the usage areas, the relationship with public health and the importance of the research methodologies. The determinants and the importance of health and measures in research area will be taught. The role of scientific researches in health care will be discussed and be learnt the steps in scientific research. Students will gain an insight into clinical evidence methods and the aims, pros-cons of these epidemiologic methods will be discussed. Students will also learn how to produce implications on health problems based on the determined measures. As final topic, students will have information from important clinical studies in the world and gain information on important health problems and diseases.
