This module aims to describe the components and functions of blood. The students will be able to learn peripheral blood cells such as erythrocytes, leucocytes and platelets, ions, proteins, the blood clotting mechanism, biochemistry of coagulation. At the end of this module the students will learn how the primary and secondary lymphoid organs are formed and matured and the details about the cells of the immune system and immunity.
