The aim of this course is for the students to advance their ability of using Adobe Illustrator program effectively and create logos, draw illustrations, develop typography that successfully reproduce on paper or the web. The Illustrator program is a vector graphics editor. Student will learn how to work with vectors, layers, live trace and use the drawing tools to create infographics, illustrations, brochures, web pages etc. It is imperative they understand that using design programs such as Illustrator is only a tool like pen or brush. In this course students will learn that creatively, innovatively and effectively using of these tools is only possible of understanding and applying graphic design principles.
