This course provides a broad understanding to communication methods used in healthcare for anyone with an interest in corporate communication, and anyone seeking to understand the growing importance of communication for healthcare corporations. Healthcare corporations increasingly need communication to continue, as they need to develop relations with different stakeholders to flourish and reach targeted groups, like i.e. patients, government authorities and civil healthcare organizations, lay public, media also stakeholders within corporations themselves, such as employees, managers and investors. The course will also focus on how healthcare corporations can construct communication campaigns, how these corporations interact with media and journalists, and how they should communicate in times of crisis.
