This explores the relationship between politics, the media and democracy in contemporary societies.The course examines how politicians, trade unions, pressure groups, non-governmental organisations and other organisations make use of the media. Within the scope of the this elective course, political media and their effects; the work of political advertising, marketing and public relations will be discussed. At the end of the semester, the students are expected to be able to define the basic concepts political communication, to be able to explain how political marketing, political advertising and political public relations are used.
