This course is designed to provide students with a
broader and deeper understanding of the various principles, strategies,
concepts, theories, practices, and histories of public relations. The course
examines public relations as a vital management function and explores its
relationship to related fields, such as marketing and advertising. The students
learn about the different
roles played by public relations in corporate, government, and nonprofit
organizations and learn how an effective public relations strategy can help to
communicate, influence opinion and create change.
