Teaching English to Young Learners

This course aims to promote understanding the special needs of young learners of English: the adaptation of teaching techniques to suit young learners, bearing in mind their cognitive development, attention span and learning styles; the 'importance of the affective domain, the use of songs and rhymes, play-acting, story-telling, visuals and videos for children.
