Bu dersin amacı baskıresim tekniklerini, terminolojisini, araç ve gereçlerle ilgili bilgileri, ağaç baskı ve linol baskı gibi yüksek baskı teknikleri, gravür çukur baskı, mono baskı ve serigrafi baskı gibi farklı baskı tekniklerin kullanması için öğrenciye sunmaktır. Aynı zamanda baskıresim dersi, öğrenciyi ders süresince öğrendiği farklı teknikleri harmanlayıp, yeni materyaller de deneyerek kendi yaratıcılıkları doğrultusunda kulanmaları için de cesaretlendirir. Pratikte rengi, önemini ve kulanımını ve kendi baskıresim çalışmalarında hangi rengi nasıl kullanması gerektiğini öğrenmek önemlidir. Toksik maddeler ve çözücülerle ilgili dikkatli olmayı öğrenmek hayati önem taşır, baskıresim atölyesini kullanan kişiler kullanılan maddelerle ilgili dikkatli olmayı ve kendini zehirli maddelerden korumayı öğrenir.

The aim of this course is to introduce printmaking techniques, terminology, and equipment’s and tools, which enables students to produce prints works with different hand work techniques such as Relief printmaking, Intaglio printmaking, mono print and slick Screen-printing. This course also encourages them to use their own creativity and combine different techniques and materials. Understanding of color is identical and important in which they practically experience with their print works, and understand how and which color should be used in their print works. Being cautious about the toxic materials and solvents is vital, one who uses a studio has to pay attention to using materials, in order to protect himself/herself and others.
