This course is aimed to provide general information about neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders, some pediatric diseases and the surgically treated diseases. The etiology of the diseases, symptoms, surgical procedures, post-operative complications and rehabilitation after operations are summarized. Polyneuropathies and entrapment neuropathies, psychiatric disorders (depression, schizophrenia, etc.), childhood convulsions and epilepsy, arthroplastic surgical methods (shoulder, hip and knee) and endoprosthesis, congenital orthopedic problems (congenital muscular torticollis, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injuries) and orthopedic treatments, etiopathogenesis of disc herniation, disc herniation symptoms in surgical approaches, fluid and electrolyte disorders/acid-base balance, peripheral arterial disease, malignant breast diseases take placein the scope of this course.
