This course covers the topics such as internet business models, electronic commerce infrastructure, payment acceptance, security issues and ethics of electronic commerce. Provides an introduction to the technology and history of the Internet and its uses as an electronic commerce medium from informational websites to full online retail systems. Included in this introductory survey will be analysis and evaluation of retail and business-to-business Internet based systems. This course introduces the student to the concepts and terminology of modern IT systems. It includes topics on system concepts, financial systems, management systems, DSS, EIS, and marketing systems. The emphasis will be to develop an understanding of the underlying principles of IT for e-business management.
