This course is designed for post-graduate students and examines a number of topics of current, specific, most important, and acute problems of international law. This subject introduces the structure of the international legal system, including the role of international organizations and international limits on national power. Issues include customary rule of international law; general principles of law; responsibility of states for internationally wrongful acts; diplomatic protection; question of the protection and inviolability of diplomatic agents and other persons entitled to special protection under international law; use of force in international relations; issues relating to international terrorism; implementing principles of human rights and protecting the environment.
