APPLIED LINGUISTICS (MA)


The overall aim of the course is to provide the learners with the insights into the application of diverse linguistic theories, methods, and findings to the field of foreign language learning and teaching and thus to help them develop their professional competence as a foreign language teacher.To this end, they will study basic features of language and communication, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, contrastive and error analysis.
