This course is designed to introduce students to classical and contemporary political thought by following the footsteps of outstanding such as from Plato to Mill. Through a chronological analysis of the political thought of selected scholars,  their contributions to international relations will be examined. In discussing the ideas of those theorists the method followed is both textual and contextual, written and oral, attempting to give due regard to the thoughts expressed by the authors and the social environments in which they have been expressed.
