This course is a sequence to LATIN-1. It begins with a review of regular first declension Latin nouns in the nominative, accusative, genitive, dative and ablative cases. This is followed by a review of regular first, second and third conjugation Latin verbs in the present indicative tense. The student is then introduced to regular second, third, fourth and fifth declension nouns taught with the assistance of in-class and homework exercises involving the nominative, accusative, genitive, dative and ablative cases.Exceptions to each type of declensions are pointed out. The simple past and future cases of regular first, second, third  and fourth conjugation verbs are presented. The teaching of the course is enriched with examples of original Latin poems, short stories, dialogues and excerpts from classical Latin works.
