This course is the continuation of TURK114. This course is designed for nursing students (whose mother tongue is not Turkish) in order to provide further progress in common Turkish dialogues used within a hospital environment in Northern Cyprus. The course content is designed mainly around sample dialogues and role-playing activities regarding students’ needs when interacting with their peers, colleagues, superiors, and patients in various contexts throughout their internship at hospitals. By the end of this course students will be able to follow how to take vital signs by using polite instructions in Turkish, communicate with patients in various contexts, and give advice to patients on what they should do/ should not do.
