In this course the students learn
about what project management and project scheduling are. The tools for time management,
special characteristics of projects and stakeholders in project management are explained.
The management approaches to determine project success and the related criteria
are discussed. Work breakdown structure and controlling techniques are
mentioned. The rules for drawing network diagrams including activities on node and
activities on arrow are explained. Critical path method and program evaluation
and review technique are taught. Random variable distributions, probability in project
scheduling network and simulation in project scheduling network are mentioned.
