This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with particular reference to SAP as a major industry ERP platform. It examines how ERP systems integrate core organizational functions such as finance, procurement, inventory, sales, logistics, human resources, and supply chain activities through shared data and cross-functional business processes. The course also addresses ERP architecture, master and transactional data, system selection and implementation, process improvement, organizational change, controls, reporting, cloud ERP, and emerging technologies. Conceptual instruction is reinforced through guided hands-on exercises using an institutionally approved ERP platform.
