The aim of the oral implantology course is to provide students with general knowledge about basic oral implantology and to provide them with the competence to make decisions with a large number of patient treatment methods and possibilities, considering implant surgery and implant-supported prostheses. The student evaluates all aspects of the implant site, application and maintenance. As a result, students will have a comprehensive knowledge of the mechanical, surgical and antimicrobial treatment of peri-implant diseases. They will learn implant-supported prosthesis applications. Implant types, materials, surface properties of the implant; Peri-implant tissues, patient evaluation and selection, diagnostic methods, treatment plan, soft and hard tissue preparation, implant surgery, prosthetic approaches on implants, peri-implant diseases and treatments are within the scope of the course.
