Bu dersin temel amacı, öğrencilere bankacılık hizmetleri ve bankacılık organizasyon yapılarına giriş niteliğinde ve kapsamlı bir genel bakış sağlamaktır. Öğrenciler ayrıca banka ekstresi analizi ve performans ölçümünü de incelemelidir. GAP ve SÜRE analizi gibi varlık ve borç yönetimi becerileri de bu dersin öğretme ve öğrenme hedeflerinden biridir.
Bu ders, adadaki mevcut politik ve ekonomik duruma dair eleştirel bir değerlendirme sunmasının yanında, bu durumu hazırlayan geniş tarihsel çerçeveyi çizmek adına, 19. Yüzyılın sonundan itibaren gerçekleşen ekonomik, sosyal ve siyasal gelişmeleri de ele almaktadır. Dersin temel odak noktasını Kıbrıs sorunu oluşturmakta, bu bağlamda, sorunun gelişimi ve bunun yanında, bu sorunu sona erdirmeye (ya da devamını sağlamaya) yönelik uluslararası ve yerel aktörlerin oynadığı rol incelenmektedir. Bu, multidisipliner bir yaklaşım ve milliyetçilik, çatışma çözümü, uluslararası hukuk, jepolitik, siyasal patronaj ve postkolonyalizm gibi farklı teorik çerçevelerin kullanımını gerektirmektedir. Summary of the Course:
By examining more general problems about production, consumption, and usage and how these issues fit into a larger conversation about design and culture, this class explores several facets of design. By critically analyzing and visualizing the interactions of gender, power, ethics, status, and racism within design practices and objects, students will evaluate the relationship between design and culture. Students will read theoretical, historical, social, and political works of literature, allowing them to thoroughly examine these complex subjects. In the end, students will be able to understand and express how design studies give us a "critical" perspective on how to investigate and assess how design functions as a cultural, economic, and social form.

The Digital Media Interface Design course explores the principles and practices of designing user-friendly, interactive, and visually engaging digital interfaces. Students will learn how to create effective user experiences by applying usability, accessibility, and interaction design principles. The course covers essential topics such as visual hierarchy, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design to ensure seamless functionality across various devices and platforms. Through hands-on projects, students will experiment with UI/UX tools and technologies, design interfaces for websites, mobile applications, and emerging technologies like AR and VR, and conduct usability testing to refine their designs. Additionally, ethical considerations and inclusivity in digital media design will be emphasized. By the end of the course, students will develop a fully functional interface design project, demonstrating their ability to craft compelling digital experiences that align with modern user expectations.
