This course is designed
to develop students’
abilities and skills to
think critically, to respect others’
points of view and also to analyses and direct academic arguments. In
this course, students are directed to raise questions and analyses the
scientific texts logically and critically, i.e. they are guided to conduct a
critical analysis of what they read and are provided with opportunities to
practice and develop their skills by writing their reflections on the material
studied and on their own learning. Moreover,
they are assisted to Identifying and analyzing problems academically
and offer appropriate and scientific alternative suggestions for
solving such problems.
The capstone course is a method of summative evaluation in which the student is given an opportunity to demonstrate integrated knowledge and growth in the program. In this course, students apply the knowledge and skills used in previous courses to the business planning process required for venture development. It gives them the ability to work on an extended business project while gathering very practical experience. This involves critiquing business plans and using practical research tools and appropriate analytical approaches to work through components of plans of their own. Throughout the semester, student teams present ideas to both peers and experts from the community who provide feedback and insight into what it takes to start and manage a successful business.

Projects are considered as an important attribute for modern businesses. Consequently, there is an increasing trend towards project management by all stakeholders involved in contemporary business environment. This course introduces the concept of managerial process in project management. It aims to explore the process of lifecycle management of projects and the tools for decision making. The course will cover the important topics of project management process as cost and time estimation, project scheduling, managing risk, outsourcing, project closure and how to become an effective project manager. In addition, at the end of this course, the students will be able to understand how project management theories are practiced in business cases and it will enable them to be able to apply theories in real life cases.

This course will provide an integrated study of the principles of strategic management and their application in the international business environment. The course aims at providing the advanced insights of strategic management perspective on key business decisions. The course primarily focuses on corporate strategic planning process, strategy formulation, impact of micro and macro environment on strategic decision making.
The aim of this course is to provide an opportunity to the students for understanding the importance of knowledge management in organizations as an intangible asset apart from the tangible assets. Two essential theories of knowledge management, which are knowledge-based view of firms and resourced-based view of organizations, will be illustrated to the students as a fundamental organizational strategy. Some of the case studies / best practices of the multi-national companies will be examined and analyzed from the knowledge management theories and perspectives. Both tacit and explicit dimensions of knowledge will be revealed and Nonaka’s SECI model (socialization, externalization, combination and internalization) will be considered during the lecture.

aspects of project management in businesses. It will be covering the concepts
and skills that are used by managers to propose and plan business projects, to secure
organizational resources, to manage project cost and time, to assess project
performance and progress, to explore agile project management concept and to lead
project teams in international project context. In addition, at the end of this
course, the students will be able to understand how project management theories
are practiced in business cases and it will enable them to be able to apply
theories in real life cases.
This course covers a description of the research process in general and each of the steps involved in more detail. The course focuses on alternative ways of carrying out each step and guidelines for selecting among these alternatives according to the needs of a specific research problem. The course also describes using software packages like SPSS and interpretation of the results of data analysis.
