This course is designed to explore the general dynamics and neurobiology of addiction for the General Psychology master's program. Behavioral theories, addiction theories will be covered. In addition substances (illicit drugs and legal substances) as well as behaviors (gambling, eating, sex, etc) will also be examined in detail. Finally treatment modalities will also be covered and supported with research.

The main goal of the summer practice is to plan the patient-specific assessment and rehabilitation program for the students and to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various clinical settings. During the internship, the student will make the necessary evaluation and identification for physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications under the supervision of a physiotherapist. Patient-specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation program is written by consultant physiotherapist. Basic knowledge and skills about physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs are being watched. It is a 4-week program and the practice reports will be submitted to the department management for evaluation. The written report prepared during the evaluation is regarded as a general evaluation in the nature reflecting the contents of the internship.

The aim of this course is to teach the therapeutic exercises used in physiotherapy in the pool environment and to teach the in-water treatment methods. Within the scope of this course, the physical properties of water, the basic features of aquatic exercise practices in the elderly, children and adults, in-water exercise therapy in shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist joint problems, in-water exercise therapy in hip, knee, foot and ankle joint problems, vertebral In this study, different and current in-water exercise treatments such as the Bad Ragaz Ring Method, Halliwick Method, Watsu and Aichi are examined on the basis of the literature, and programs to improve healthy physical fitness.
Within the scope of this course, the history of sports in handicapped people, general rules of paralympic games and sports facilities, disability definitions and classification, effects of exercise training for the disabled, physical fitness programs suitable for disabled people, dance activities in disabled people, appropriate sports activities in different disability groups, training programs in accordance with this scoring and sports branch will be defined and the definition of sports branches and physiotherapy and rehabilitation. At the end of this course, students will be able to know the sports that people with disabilities can do, comprehend physiological and functional differences of individuals with disabilities, recognize sports injuries that may occur in disabled people and decide on rehabilitation practices.
