Bu ders ögrencilere bilinçli farkhndalhk literatürünün yakhn tarihte nashl başlayıp ilerledigini, özellikle 1990 ve 2000lerdeki temel
akademik çalışmalar üzerinden temellendirerek sunacaktır. Bilinçli farkındalık yetilerinin gerek yapılandırılmış gerekse de
gündelik aktivitelerdeki stratejik kullanımının ve işlevlerinin ne olduğu, bunun yanında bilinçli farkındalığın durum ve
yönelim özelliklerinin nasıl değerlendirildiği de incelenecektir. Mindfulness kavramı aynı zamanda bilişsel esneklik ve Kabul ve
Kararlılık terapisi bağlamında da irdelenecek olup, öğrencilere ayrıca çagdaş psikoloji biliminde ele alınan baglanmama ve
doğaya baglılık kavramları tanıtılacak, zihinsel sağlık ve öznel iyilik hali ile ilişkileri de incelenecektir.

This course aims to provide an introduction to the wide range of topics covered by the science of psychology. By the end of the course, students should be familiar with the major theories and the methods of research used to study behavior. 

Philosophical and scientific antecedents of modern psychology. Schools of thought in psychology including structuralism, functionalism, behaviourism, Gestalt, and psychoanalysis. Recurrent issues in the history of psychology.

The main goal of the summer practice is to plan the patient-specific assessment and rehabilitation program for the students and to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various clinical settings. During the internship, the student will make the necessary evaluation and identification for physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications under the supervision of a physiotherapist. Patient-specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation program is written by consultant physiotherapist. Basic knowledge and skills about physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs are being watched. It is a 4-week program and the practice reports will be submitted to the department management for evaluation. The written report prepared during the evaluation is regarded as a general evaluation in the nature reflecting the contents of the internship.
